#nanowrimo plotting part two.

Yes, I specifically used a # like in twitter... for twitter. If there is no NaNoWriMo auto wordcount poster to twitter, I'm going to have to fashion one myself crudely.

I'm at work. I've been here about half an hour now, and I don't actually have a single work related window open. That's rather tragic. *opens one* That's better. But that's what nanowrimo does, it makes me shirk all other responsibilities and damn the consequences...

As for the plotting status. *epiphany* I could write some dodgy, cliched story about what is essentially the garage band and centre it around Faulty, Alex's friend. I like him because of his name, which is a dodgy pun. I hope everyone who is called Andreas goes by the nickname Faulty (or similar).

I am stuck for something that is not one gigantic cliche. Because even if the spark is not cliched, it turns into one pretty quickly. Probably because I'm a sucker for happy endings, and having the guy and the girl get together.

Maybe I should rewrite my abandoned Screnzy script as a novel. Because I liked the story of the guy and the girl and the newspaper and the geeky computer-ness of it. But I got bored writing it, so that doesn't bode well... especially since Screnzy scripts are essentially only half as long as NaNo stories... or as I like to think of them, Nano without the crazy descriptions.

I had this idea of changing it the other day, while I was on the toilet... but I've forgotten it, seeing as you can't write things down while you're there.

I don't think I'm ever going to be one of those people who can write stories that go for a lot longer than 50k words. In my first I had to add in scenes to get to 50k. And in my second I basically planned it by every thousand words, and it was a struggle to think of something to happen every 1000 words.

There is nothing particularly useful in my Google Notebook... which is kind of sad. Though actually, the reason why it's a little sparse is because I've started writing the stories I've recently had ideas for.

Oh yeah, the idea I had on the toilet was about photos. Like she works for a little newspaper and they're too poor to pay for photos so they get their one photographer to take pictures of her whenever they feel they need photos.
