Day Five Total: 20,198

Today's total is more than twice what I had for day five last year. It's going that insanely well. What am I going to do with myself?

I do sort of need to come up with more plot, but stuff that.

I've written sporadically all day. Just under a thousand words before I got out of bed (where there are no distractions). Then I typed it up during work (don't tell my boss) and then did some more writing at work, and the rest when I got home.

I'm trying to keep to about 2k words a day, but I've gone over that pretty much every day since this NaNo started. I really don't want to write less because I think I'll lose all momentum (though, if I do end up leaving everything until the last two or three days like usual, I won't have nearly so much to make up).

*shrugs* We'll see where I am in two days time.
