I have no intent to try to surpass the minimum 1,667 word goal from now on. (What's wrong with the grammar of that sentence?)
My latest unofficial NaNoWriMo goal (besides finishing a >50k word story over the course of the month) is to actually write every day. I don't think I've ever done that before. I win NaNoWriMo not by being a tortoise, but by being a hare.
Which reminds me of a joke about chickens... because I read it in a chicken joke book.
"Did you hear about the two chickens running a marathon?
"One ran in short bursts, the other ran in burst shorts."
...the things you find the height of hilarity when you're ten.
The fun thing is that I've increased my NaNoWriMo productivity, so even though I can't type as fast and keep making mistakes because I need to cut my fingernails , I spent less than an hour writing today and still managed 1800 words.
