NaNoWriMo Plotting Part 6

Today I have a new plot idea. I don't think I'm ever going to find a plot that I like before November rolls around.

But I have another plot which goes something like this:

Girl, after death of her best friend moves in with some old family friends in San Francisco, who basically become family, they look after her, the older kids become her older siblings and it's a new beginning. One of the older boys is a bit jealous and thinks of her as an annoying pest: he didn't ask for a little sister, but he warms to her eventually. Her love interest (because there has to be one in what is essentially a 'coming of age' story) is her best friend's brother, he tells her before she leaves that she can talk to him when she needs to. They get to chatting over the Internet and stuff, so the reader may not suspect that he's the one she gets with (because we throw in the family friends' son who is more physically present, but is going to be more like a brother).

Anyway, I've liked this plot for a couple of days now, so I think I might go for it. I am almost getting that "must write now" feeling from it.
